"You're not so intimidating when you're bleeding all over like that." -Flanker Dominating a Trooper.

The DB Shotgun or the Lupara DB, The DB Shotgun is a side-by-side double-barrel shotgun with two shells at the ready. The DB Shotgun in three games appears to be a sawn-off variant of a side-by-side shotgun. It is most likely a Model 37 Stevens given the weapon has an older design appearance.

Arsenal[]

Main article: DB Shotgun

Each shell fired from the shotgun via left-clicking will shoot out 9 pellets, dealing 12 damage per pellet at close ranges and 3 damage at long ranges. Right-clicking with the DB Shotgun in hand fires both barrels at once, doubling the number of pellets shot and knockback received while in the air.

The DB also grants you the ability to shotgun jump, providing a useful utility both into and out of combat. To shotgun jump, jump and fire at your feet by either left-clicking or right-clicking. This will launch you into the air, but note that controlling yourself in mid-air can be rather difficult, and you are also extremely vulnerable to gunfire.

Typical Colors 2[]

Main article: Lupara DB

The Lupara DB; previously known as the DB Shotgun; is a primary weapon for the Flanker. It takes the appearance of a double barrel shotgun. It only has 2 shots in its clip but fires 50% faster than the Lever Shotgun does.

Upon firing, you will receive a slight knockback, you can use this to your advantage by firing it at the opposite direction you need to go while in mid-air, this trick can be used as a mini-jump, allowing you to reach hard to reach spots, increasing your overall mobility.

If you deal 100 damage or more to an enemy, they will receive knockback depending on the range, this can be used to shove an enemy to a wall where it's harder for them to escape, and finish them with your last shot or your secondary pistol of choice.

It has 20% more bullets per shot, but also a 10% damage penalty to balance things out. This weapon is designed for mobility, as well as encouraging a more "hit & run" playstyle, although less reliable than the stock, it can still serve you well in some situations

Unit 1968: Vietnam[]

The DB Shotgun is described in the game as "A double barreled shotgun with excellent performance from its 8 gauge rounds, but slow with reloading and low in ammo that it can hold."The DB Shotgun has a bullet speed of 983 studs per second and a bullet drop rate of 0.6 studs per second. It has a damage rating of 6/7, and it is capable of killing enemies in a single shot at close range.

The DB Shotgun is exclusive to the Assault and Engineer class, and is featured on both the NVA and USMC teams
